  1. I keep wanting a standardized way for my UA to browse mailing list
  2. archives, rather than having to copy the entire archive file to
  3. my local machine and translate it to my UA's mailbox format.

  5. It seems like IMAP is close to a good approximation of an appropriate
  6. protocol to do this. Is this reasonable with the current protocol?  If not,
  7. is this being looked at?  Are there any mailing list archives that are
  8. IMAP-accessible from remote sites?
